A house sitter reported that he had locked the keys inside the house and asked for assistance gaining entry to the residence. The man was given information about the options available to him.

Another shoplifter, this one caught in the act, was discovered after he attempted to steal a sweatshirt by simply placing it over his own clothing. A review of security footage showed that Steven A. Koechel, 28 yoa, had taken several additional items totaling approximately $800.  Koechel, who was intoxicated, was arrested on charges of Theft II.

Department store staff learned from security footage that a man identified as Pedro C. Parra, 34 yoa, had stolen a pair of Xtra Tuff boots by replacing his old, worn-out pair with a brand new pair and then walking out of the store. Parra, who was found on board his vessel, was charged with one count of Theft III.

An inmate who admitted to consuming large quantities of alcohol and ingesting a significant quantities of painkillers shortly before incarceration was treated by IFHS staff for both mental and physical issues.

Adam Shapsnikoff, 34 yoa, was arrested on two counts of Violating Conditions of Release after his wife reported that he had left their home for reasons other than to work. Shapsnikoff returned to his home about two hours later, intoxicated, and was subsequently arrested by police.

Caller reported an unidentified man had knocked on the door to a residence and had then walked away. An officer contacted a pedestrian matching the provided description, and learned that the man had accidentally knocked on the wrong door while looking for his girlfriend.

A man told officers he felt sure he was going to die because his roommate had threatened to “deal with” him after they got into an argument, and worse yet, kept a screwdriver by his bed. The roommate, who was upset because the other room occupant was white, was dirty and kept wiping boogers on the shower walls, explained that he was from southern California. The situation was resolved when the two men were assigned to separate rooms per corporate security.
