Nathanial J. Hudson, 27 yoa, was arrested for Driving under the Influence and later charged with Reckless Driving after officers, responding to two reports about a speeding, erratic driver, stopped Hudson and two companions after they careened through Pyramid Valley.

Caller reported men in a bucket truck were doing something to equipment on the Standard Oil Hill tsunami siren. The responding officer found two City employees repairing tower-mounted communication equipment.

A bunkhouse tenant who was decidedly lacking in holiday cheer called police to complain about a neighbor who was cooking, albeit quietly, a late dinner in the communal kitchen. An officer suggested that the complainant simply be nice to his neighbor.

Business manager discovered a shattered door pane and some blood about six feet from the broken glass. Nothing inside the business had been damaged or taken, and the responding officer concluded that the manner of the breakage suggested a very small rock or similar item had been thrown at high speed, perhaps from a passing vehicle’s tire.

Officers checked on a senior citizen whose Alert 1 alarm had been activated. The woman was already being helped by the housing manager and did not need additional medical assistance.

Several inebriated fishermen were given trespass advisements after what started as an argument in the bar deteriorated into a drunken brawl.

Complaint about a man soliciting rides in an aggressive manner. The man, who told police he was trying to get a taxi, denied yelling or behaving in an otherwise untoward fashion.

Officers and Troopers stood by at the airport while several inebriated would-be passengers were denied boarding due to their levels of intoxication. Some of the inebriates took this denial with less equanimity than others, and were escorted from the airport by their employer.

Officer cautioned a commercial truck driver who had failed to yield to an emergency vehicle that he has a responsibility to pay attention to his surroundings and could be cited for failure to yield.

Jonathan Nix, 34 yoa, was arrested for Violating Conditions of Release and False Information after officers contacted him regarding a fracas at the airport, recognized him in spite of his attempts to thwart said identification and discovered that he was under court conditions not to consume alcohol.

Officers responded to a mêlée outside the airport, and found about a dozen alcohol- and testosterone-fueled fishermen milling about the bathroom. The men, only one of whom was injured, could not individually provide any coherent story but collectively related a tale of fishermen gone bad, quite possibly as a result of over-consumption of alcohol.
