Officer advised an intoxicated man that his repeated unwanted calls to his child’s mother will result in his arrest should they continue. The father was further advised that complaints about custody stipulations should be addressed by the court during normal working hours.

Caller expressed concern that an intoxicated young man who had just been told to leave a high school sports event might attempt to drive himself home. An officer found the youth at his home, standing next to a vehicle with a shattered window. The youth claimed that the window had been broken at the school and that he had another person drive him home.

Officer observed a man who has repeatedly been barred from company property, and who has repeatedly been arrested for trespassing on company property, again on company property. Michael Silipa, 25 yoa, was arrested again on one count Criminal Trespass II.

Officer advised a drunken man who had previously refused to leave that he was too intoxicated to remain on a licensed premise.

Caller reported that a person wearing black clothing and a black bag appeared suspicious. The caller later reported that the suspicious person was doing laundry in a facility made available for fisherman to do their laundry.

Caller reported a bus stop had been blown to smithereens by high winds, and that parts of the shelter were now in the roadway. Information passed on to Public Works.

A manual transmission vehicle which had apparently been left in neutral and with no parking brake, was blown by high winds from a parking lot into a ditch. The owner of the vehicle was never located but at some point the vehicle was removed from the ditch.

A man who had been slapped in the Unalaska airport by his ex-girlfriend called police to report the incident once he was safely in Anchorage. He told police that he wished to press charges not because he had been hurt, but rather because his ex-girlfriend had surprised and embarrassed him. Under investigation.

Caller reported a skiff in the Iliuliuk River was taking on water and was not securely moored at its dock. An officer secured the lines to the dock pending the arrival of the skiff’s owner.

A man whose family had been obscenely disparaged on Facebook came to the police station to report that he had just come from the suspect’s home, where he had punched the suspect several times in the face. The suspect, who exhibited minor facial injuries, did not wish to speak to police about the matter and had no interest in pursuing charges.

After receiving a report of fireworks being ignited at the CEM dock, officers located a man who admitted to having lighted them because he thought they were legal. He apologized for the mistake and removed the debris from the dock.

Officer advised a bar patron he was not allowed to remain on a licensed premise this night.

Grandmother reported that she and other members of her family had found vulgar posts on their Facebook pages, written by the father of her grandchild. The family was advised to de-friend the suspect, and an officer attempted unsuccessfully to advise the suspect to have no further communication with the family.
