An officer saw a man being pummeled by several other men, and after requesting ambulance service for the victim began pursuing on foot two of the three assailants, ultimately catching one of them. The second man was tentatively identified by witnesses, and a third man was later identified by the victim as someone who had been attempting to stop the fight. Rhett E. Merritt, 24 yoa, was arrested on one count Assault IV.

An officer responded regarding a fight, and was told by the alleged victim that another, intoxicated, patron had grabbed him by the throat and tried to strike him several times before he was pulled off by bystanders and made to leave the bar. The victim did not wish to press charges and simply asked that the officer tell the suspect to have a good night. The suspect, who was located later, was issued a trespass advisement.

Caller requested that officers check on an elderly man who seemed to be walking rather aimlessly in the Valley. Officers recognized the man based on the description but were unable to locate him.
