A homeowner woke up to find that intoxicated, tattooed stranger had made himself at home in the garage, where he was sleeping soundly. Officers surrounded the man, who groggily stated that he believed he was at the home of a friend whose name he was unable to provide. The homeowners elected not to pursue charges and the inebriate was escorted from the property.

Caller reported a taxi had run a stop sign on Standard Oil Hill, and said that many vehicles run this stop sign on a regular basis. An officer contacted the suspect driver and issued a warning.

Officers responded to a processing plant at which two employees had begun hitting one another following an argument over some minor issue. Two men both claimed the other had started the fistfight. Under investigation.

A screaming woman reported that an unidentified man was breaking into her residence. Officers responded and found that the woman was actually trespassing in said residence, and the “burglar” was an authorized company representative attempting to evict the woman and recover the keys to the company bunkhouse. An intoxicated and weeping female neighbor provided a fine resolution to the situation when she wandered into the street and begged that the woman be allowed to instead stay with her.
