Caller reported a puddle of oil in a post office parking lot. The responding officer observed a puddle of oil and a trail of oil leading out of the parking lot. No suspect vehicles were identified.

Officer investigated a dance-floor fracas between two women, one of whom was apparently quite irate at being bumped while dancing. The irate woman first threw the other to the glass-littered floor and then began banging the victim’s head on the ground. Under investigation.

Harbor Officer requested assistance with a drunk who wished to sleep in the jail this night. The drunk, after being advised by an officer that neither jail nor the airport would serve as a hotel, opted to sleep on the grassy knoll at the end of the airport terminal.

Walkers reported two dogs, set loose by their owner, had approached them aggressively. An officer spoke with the pet owner and cautioned her about the dogs’ behavior.

Caller reported that at least one driver had to swerve to avoid hitting a man who was hitch-hiking in the middle of the roadway. An officer found the individual and advised him of the dangers associated with walking in the roadway.

Business owner discovered graffiti at two locations in his building, neither of which were covered by surveillance cameras. The damage was documented.

Multiple complaints were received about two men who were yelling and generally being disruptive near an apartment building. Officers contacted the men and advised them to keep their voices down, and contacted them a second time when more complaints were received. The men eventually quieted and left the area.

The drunk migrated from the airport sidewalk to a vehicle, which he neither owned nor rented, in the airport parking lot, where he was subsequently found yet again by a Harbor Officer. Joel M. Brown, 35 yoa, was arrested on one count of Criminal Trespass II.

An officer who noted an open pickup truck door and a person hunched over the wheel found an intoxicated man asleep in the cab of a vehicle which he neither owned nor rented. Brandon Winn, 19 yoa, was subsequently arrested for Criminal Trespass II and Minor in Possession.
Liquor Law Violation

Shortly after leaving the airport terminal, the drunk was observed on the sidewalk in front of the terminal, drinking from a half-gallon bottle of vodka. An officer advised the drunk that such consumption in public was a violation of City ordinance.
Assistance Rendered

The drunk, who had migrated to the airport, was found asleep in the TV room by a Ports Officer conducting a security check of the facility. The drunk was advised to leave.
