Drunk Disturbance

A drunk who had been fired from his job, dropped off in Unalaska and who had subsequently missed his flight refused to leave the hotel room for which he could no longer pay. The drunk was evicted from the hotel and advised not to return to the hotel or any licensed liquor establishment.

Fishing company representative advised that one of their vessels was bringing to town a man who was having drug withdrawal issues and who was known to have an active warrant. An officer determined that the out-of-state warrant was non-extraditable.

A vehicle, missing a wheel and without emergency flashers, was abandoned in the driveway to the UDPS building. The vehicle, conveniently located for towing, was taken directly to the impound yard.

Officer investigated a report that an intoxicated man had told his mental health counselor that he intended to kill his ex-girlfriend. The suspect admitted that he had made the statement but did not intend to do anything of the sort, and did not even know where his ex-girlfriend lives. An officer contacted the ex-girlfriend and advised her of the incident.

Officers responded to a report of a fight amongst several intoxicated processing plant employees, and found one man with a recently-bandaged laceration on the top of his head. Statements from participants and witnesses led officers to conclude that no fight had occurred, and the injured man had actually cut his head when he stumbled on some stairs.

An officer found quite a few pieces of construction equipment scattered about the roadway, all of which was moved to a safe location at the side of the road. A company representative later reported that some items had apparently gone missing from a flatbed truck, and was advised of the equipment’s new location.

Caller asked officers to contact a neighbor whose music was too loud and with whom he had previously had an altercation. An officer advised the neighbor of the complaint.

An as-yet-unidentified man was captured on security video trying to break into part of the a liquor store. Under investigation.

EMS personnel provided care and transport for a drunk with a pain in his leg.

Intoxicated sibling requested officer assistance because his drunken brother wouldn’t get out of his room. The intoxicated and half-naked sibling had forgotten why he called by the time police arrived, and instead complained about pain in his leg. He provided a great deal of verbal assistance to responding medics.

Caller reported a possibly intoxicated man had parked briefly at a dock and created a disturbance before driving away. An officer located the suspect driver and determined he was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Drunken brother reported that his intoxicated sibling was attempting to fight with him. Upon arrival, the drunken brother told the responding officer that actually he wanted the officer to tell his brother to give him the TV remote and to go to bed. The officer advised he was not going to tell the sibling either of these things.

Restaurant employee reported an unidentified man had phoned in an order and had then refused to collect or pay for his food. The caller could not be identified.
