Officers responded to a report of several people yelling and otherwise creating a ruckus on a residential lane. Two of those present, both intoxicated, indicated that a dispute erupted involving things that were being said about another family member. All parties were advised of the consequences should their behavior continue.

Caller reported gunshots coming from Hog Island. The responding officer also heard similar sounds, and saw several people on the island, but was unable to make contact with them.

Woman reported receiving insulting but not threatening text messages from her ex. An officer advised the ex he was not allowed on the woman’s property.

Ismael D. Lopez, 34 yoa, was charged with No Valid Operator License after an officer stopped him for several traffic violations and learned that his license expired years ago.

Officer advised a man who had his wobbly boots on that he was not allowed to enter or remain on a licensed premise this night.

Officers responded to what was first reported as gunshots but was then amended to firecrackers being ignited in the Valley. Two teenage boys at a bonfire admitted to having thrown the firecrackers in the fire, and were advised not to continue doing so.

Caller reported a pollatic pedestrian tottering about the roadway. Officers contacted the man, who was not in need of any assistance, and advised him not to enter any liquor stores or bars this night.

Several drums of what was possibly waste oil were secreted behind the wall of a WWII structure on Tundra Drive. An officer attempted to contact crew on board the vessel whose name appeared on the barrels, to no avail.

The obstreperous man was released after finally identifying himself, and was advised by an officer that he was too intoxicated to enter or remain on any licensed premise this night.
Disorderly Conduct

An obstreperous and well-lubricated bar patron who was no longer welcome in the bar and who was attempting to pick a fight with the bouncer, refused to identify himself to police. He was handcuffed and transported to the jail, where he eventually identified himself after being told he would have to wait until an on-call magistrate had time for him.

Officers contacted two men involved who had earlier been involved in an altercation on the beach. The suspect admitted to having punched his crew mate, but only after being rushed by him. He also told officers the other man’s ankle injury occurred not in the fight but rather as he fled the scene. The victim claimed to have been sucker-punched by the suspect but did not wish to file charges.
