A homeowner who had earlier denied a man seeking shelter for the night a room and who had told the man to instead sleep in a vehicle, changed his mind and wanted to allow the man to sleep inside the home. He did not, however, wish to go outside in the rain to tell the man this, and asked that officers do it for him. They did.

Complaint about loud music from a neighboring residence. Officers contacted the occupants of the suspect home and advised them of the complaint.

An intoxicated, bawling woman begged assistance retrieving her dog from an Unalaska residence before hanging up, calling again and hanging up a second time. Officers responded to the residence and spoke with the sober homeowner, who said the drunk had been causing problems at the house but he had been able to convince her to sleep in a vehicle. He asked that officers please not wake her.

Officers investigated a report that a man who had been issued a trespass advisement had returned to the bar. Having once identified the suspect, officers determined that his trespass advisement had expired four months previous.

A driver backing from a parking space struck a vehicle parked close behind her. No injuries were reported and damages were minor.

Hundreds of crab legs were dumped at an intersection near the PCR, causing concern that eagles and foxes would descend en masse upon the area. Officers located the person responsible for the spill and advised her to collect the legs and remove them from the area.

Officers responded to a galley regarding a finger-wrestling match gone awry. One intoxicated contestant allegedly carried the digit-grappling too far when he wrenched his opponent’s fingers until the man pulled away in fear and pain. Alipio S. Pogoy Jr., 35 yoa, will be charged with one count of Assault IV.

Caller reported receiving second-hand threats that he was on someone’s “list,” presumably for reasons related to the suspect’s having been fired from his previous job. The caller also believed the suspect may have been responsible for putting sugar in his gas tank a few weeks ago.  Under investigation.

Officers responded to a restaurant regarding an obnoxious patron who threatened to sue the restaurant owners after being asked to turn down the volume on his iPod. The unidentified patron had left by the time officers arrived.
