Officers responded to a local bar regarding an alleged assault, and found an intoxicated patron who was reluctant to leave the premises. The man, whom bar staff described as acting “crazy,” eventually left after being advised that he would be arrested if he remained.

Caller reported an unattended vehicle, with keys in the ignition, had been left in front of the bar. The caller was concerned because the known driver of said vehicle doesn’t frequent bars. Subsequent investigation revealed that the vehicle had actually been left in front of the Elbow Room, a former bar now being converted to other use.

Intoxicated caller reported being assaulted by a man who had since run away with a half-gallon of vodka. Officers determined the assault consisted of one drunk, dismayed about a spilled drink, shoving another drunk on the shoulder. No charges were filed.

Caller reported a driver travelling erratically on Airport Beach Road. Officers contacted the man and determined that his driving behavior was not a result of drug or alcohol impairment.

A hysterical, intoxicated woman was taken into protective custody after she was released from the clinic with no significant medical complications.
Criminal Mischief

Officer observed the hotel being evacuated and learned that an alarm had been activated but there was no sign of smoke, fire or other emergency. Security officers pointed out a hysterical, intoxicated woman beating a phone receiver against a phone in the lobby, and identified her as the person they believed may have been responsible for having pulled the fire alarm.
