Driver reported nearly running over a man wearing dark clothing and walking in the middle of the roadway. An officer found the drunk and provided him with courtesy transport to his residence.

Caller reported a vehicle with no tail lights on Airport Beach Road. An officer contacted the suspect driver and determined she had not turned on her lights.
Drug Law Violation

Officers responding to a report of possible drug use found a vehicle driving away from the scene and stopped the vehicle. The driver and adult passengers admitted to smoking marijuana earlier and turned over some marijuana and two pipes. Charges pending.

An anonymous caller reported that s/he was concerned about a man who had previously been victimized by free-loaders and thieves, and had been seen earlier this day in the company of yet another person of questionable repute. Officers eventually found both people, neither of whom appeared in need of assistance.

A disturbed woman who lived in this community decades ago phoned police to report that she felt ill and was thinking of harming herself. Local police in Colorado, who are now quite familiar with the woman, advised they were attempting to take her into custody.
