Adult sister reported her teenage sibling had gotten in a fight with her in the car, had taken her cell phone and fled on foot when she stopped the car. Officers were unable to locate the teen, who was returned by an uncle approximately one hour later.

Caller reported a rental vehicle with signage indicating that sundry meat products were for sale within. It was later determined the meat purveyors were operating without a business license and sales were ordered to cease until said license was renewed.

Caller told police he had locked himself in the wheelhouse of his vessel because another man on board the boat had threatened to knife the people on board.  Officers responded and found an extremely intoxicated and distraught man who claimed to have been thrashed by other members of the boat’s crew when he returned to the boat in a disreputable state. The crew admitted to forcing the drunk off the boat after he became unmanageable. The captain of the vessel elected not to pursue charges.

Complaint about an erratic driver who nearly drove into a ditch and crossed into the opposing lane several times. The responding officer found the driver, who said he had just returned after a 20-year absence and was distracted by the changes to the town during the intervening years.

Caller reported an illegally parked taxi. The responding officer found no illegally parked vehicles and did not locate the suspect taxi.

A trailer with a 40’ container uncoupled from the tractor which was hauling it, but remained upright as it gouged into the shoulder of the roadway. A crane was brought to the scene to pick up and reposition the trailer. Citation issued.
