Disorderly Conduct

An officer who had just spoken to two inebriates and advised them to leave the area saw the intoxicated acquaintance run down a roadway and launch a kick at the other man’s chest. A brawl ensued during which the acquaintance, identified as Devon Davis, was subdued others before being taken into custody on Disorderly Conduct charges.

Officers responded to a local bar for another altercation, this one involving an intoxicated man attempting to convince an equally intoxicated acquaintance that a woman was off-limits. Both men were issued trespass advisements per Unisea Security.

Officer advised two men, one of whom had opened a beer in front of the liquor store, that drinking in public was not allowed.

Caller reported a man in dark clothing walking in the middle of a roadway in an area with poor visibility. An officer contacted the man, and was able to convey to him the importance of walking other than the middle of the roadway.

A driver backed into a parked vehicle, causing damage to all taillights involved. No injuries were reported.

A garbage truck driver struck the corner of a building while he was attempting to collect a dumpster, causing about $1000 worth of damage. Both parties agreed to settle the matter civilly.

Officer investigated a report of someone stealing a small quantity of heating fuel and learned that one person had asked another who had asked another who had failed to ask another for permission to take said heating fuel. The person actually responsible for the fuel was advised of the misunderstanding.

Officers responded to a residence at which a woman had requested assistance removing her two grown sons. Officers spoke with the family, and advised the woman that the sons lived in the residence and would not be removed.
