Bar staff reported a patron, who had in months previous walked out on a hundred or so dollar bar tab, had been rude, aggressive and threatening when told that he needed to show cash up front prior to purchasing any drinks this night. The suspect advised police that staff had “disrespected” him. Charges pending.

Caller requested assistance at her apartment complex as a smoke detector has been going off for several days in neighboring apartment. The caller stated the tenant in that apartment has been out of town for several days. The caller stated no smoke or danger of fire were evident. Officer contacted the apartment manager who rectified the problem with the smoke detector.
