Business owner reported scrap metal had been stolen sporadically from his property over the past several years, and today he saw a truck leaving the area of his property with scrap metal in the bed. The business owner did not wish for any action to be taken.

Shane K. Lewis, 33 yoa, of Washington, was arrested for Driving under the Influence after officers responded to a complaint about a driver revving his engine and disturbing the peace of the neighborhood. Officers found Lewis in the cab of his van, slumped over in the seat. Lewis displayed obvious signs of intoxication and was subsequently taken into custody.

Boarding house resident reported a man had just been beaten with a stick. Responding officers found that the victim had been struck across the side and back of his head with a 2x4 after he and a companion were accused by a vehicle owner of somehow damaging said vehicle. Several witnesses provided information which lead to the arrest of Jason A. Anderson, 41 yoa, of Unalaska, on one count of Assault II.

Samuel Kulang, 32 yoa, of Tennessee, was arrested for Criminal Trespass I and Resisting Arrest after he refused to leave the vessel on which he had been previously employed. Kulang struggled with officers and threatened to take their weapons while being handcuffed.

A drunken and belligerent patron was removed from the Airport Restaurant after he began yelling and pounding his table. Officers removed the man and issued a trespass advisement per restaurant management.

Gas station employee reported a man had driven away without paying for nearly $70 worth of gas. The suspect, who was known to the employee, told police that an unidentified man had agreed to pay for his gas and had then reneged on the agreement. The suspect was given, per gas station management request, until the end of the week to resolve the matter.

Caller reported having received what appeared to be scam email, advising her that she had an unpaid traffic ticket in a state she had never visited. An officer was able to confirm that the email was a scam and that the caller had no outstanding traffic violations.

Officers spoke with an estranged wife who was incensed that her husband was allowing another woman to live in a house and drive a vehicle legally controlled by both the husband and wife. The wife insinuated there might be negative repercussions if the other woman were still present when the wife returns. The officer advised the wife against this course of action.
