Caller reported a possibly intoxicated driver. Officers learned, prior to contacting the suspect driver, that the suspect vehicle was driven by a young woman whose father was teaching her to drive. The father-daughter team was given some advice on safe locations at which to learn vehicle-handling basics.

Officers investigated a previously unreported motor vehicle accident after a woman reported having been injured when the passenger seat airbag deployed. Subsequent investigation indicated Killian J. Baker, 19 yoa, of Unalaska, was speeding through a populous residential area when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a barrier, injuring his passenger and causing damage to both his vehicle and the barrier. Charges of Reckless Endangerment and Leaving the Scene of an Accident pending.
