Caller reported seeing an individual walking in a closed area of the Iliuliuk Creek with a bag of salmon. An officer contacted the individual who said he caught the salmon legally in an open area of the creek. He was walking back to his residence via the creek. The bag contained an appropriate number of Pink Salmon all of which appeared to have been legally caught.

Investigation revealed two groups of individuals became involved in a physical altercation that was quickly broken up. All the involved left in different taxis. No injuries are suspected.

Fire officers responded to a report of a chemical odor coming from an industrial building. The fire officers used their gas monitoring equipment but were unable to locate anything of concern. Over the next couple of days the fire officers returned and took readings without locating any problems.
