Derak A. Otton, 23 yoa, of Koyuk, was arrested for Violating Conditions of Release after officers found him with his girlfriend, the victim of an earlier crime. The girlfriend told officers she had contacted Otton to make sure he knew what to tell his attorney.
MVA Damage

A man whose vehicle had received minor damage from a hit-and-run driver several weeks earlier found two witnesses to the accident. Officers were able to determine the suspect driver was a 16-year-old girl.

Caller reported his wife was beating him and asked if he could hit her back. Officers contacted the intoxicated caller and determined that he had kicked his girlfriend in the head upon learning that she was trying to make plans to leave the island. Byron E. Olander, 38 yoa, of Unalaska, was arrested on one count of Assault IV-DV.
MVA Damage

A driver struck a barrier while trying to back out of a parking area, causing moderate damage to his van. No injuries were reported.
