Officers responded to a report that a heated argument had broken out between a man and his wife, and learned that the couple's relationship had been steadily deteriorating but that neither party had resorted to violence. Both parties were strongly encouraged to avoid one another until tempers had cooled.

Caller reported a speeding vehicle. Officers were unable to locate or identify the driver.

Caller wished to report that a check belonging to her brother may have been forged and cashed. Parties were unwilling to speak to the officer assigned to handle their case and refused to provide additional information.
Assault

A large fight which had erupted at the Harbor View Bar resulted in several people being injured, one vehicle damaged and two men arrested. Tupou Faamoana Manaea, 22 yoa, of Washington, was arrested for Assault IV on Officer after he shoved an officer attempting to break up the fight, and Mose O'Brian, 23 yoa, also of Washington, was arrested for
Interfering with Arrest when he attempted to stop Manaea from being taken into custody.
Criminal Mischief

Multiple 911 calls were received regarding some type of altercation at the Harbor View Bar. During a fight, the door and window of a vehicle were damaged, by a person yet unidentified.

Officer advised several men in front of the Harbor View Bar with an open bottle of alcohol that they were not allowed to consume said alcohol in public.

Officers investigated a report that a woman had shoplifted two tubs of ice cream from Alaska Ship Supply. The theft was caught on security cameras. Charges pending.

Caller reported speeding drivers on a section of roadway being used by triathletes. An officer remained in the area until the athletes had passed, to ensure there were no conflicts with traffic.

Officers checked on a man running back and forth across the roadway and found a mildly intoxicated young man who said he was enjoying the wet and windy weather and was walking to his brother's vessel.

Acting on a tip from another patron, an officer checked the Harbor View Bar bathroom and found a pair of blue Converse shoes and associated body parts sticking out of a bathroom stall. The drunk to which the shoes were attached eventually stumbled out of the stall and was advised he was not allowed to remain on the premises.

Caller reported that a piece of steel had fallen from a window and broken the windshield of a vehicle parked below, and asked for assistance locating the owner of the damaged vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was identified and the information provided to the caller.

Timothy Scott Taylor, 46 yoa, who had been earlier informed he was too intoxicated to remain on a licensed premise, returned to said licensed premise and was subsequently arrested for Drunken Person on Licensed Premise. While being handcuffed, Taylor dropped a container which was retrieved by a bystander and turned over to police; the marijuana found in the container gained Taylor an additional charge of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance VI.
