The middle-aged man with a large plate of cookies was spotted again, engaged once more in the dodgy act of giving away cookies and drinks. An officer this time located the culprit, and determined his random acts of kindness were simply a means to dispose of leftover snacks prepared for a corporate meeting.

Caller asked officers to check on a friend who had consumed a large quantity of alcohol. Officers found the man relaxing on the beach, clearly inebriated but in no need of assistance.

Resident reported receiving a phone call from a man who claimed the resident would be arrested within one hour unless he immediately paid $10,000 to an attorney who, when called, sounded suspiciously like the first man. Officers phoned the so-called attorney, who agreed to take only $200 but refused to provide anything other than wire transfer information. Officers determined the phone number is registered to Ymax Communications in Houston, Texas.

Hassan A. Warsame, 22 yoa, of Washington, was arrested for Criminal Trespass II after he created a disturbance and refused to leave a Unisea facility.

Officers investigated a report that a woman may have been struck by her husband and learned that a minor tussle ensued after the couple argued about appropriate care of their young child. No charges were filed per the District Attorney.

A suspect described as a middle-aged man carrying a large plate of cookies was seen passing out cookies and beverages to people around town. An officer attempted to locate the open-handed, sweets-bearing chap, but was unable to locate him.
