Officers responded to the Grand Aleutian Hotel, where a different inebriate, quite upset about being in our fair community, had wreaked havoc on his hotel room in a vain attempt to resolve this situation. The inebriate was not required to vacate the premises.

The well-known drunk continued to create problems, wearing out his welcome at a vessel on which he had been allowed to spend the night. The drunk walked to yet another location after arguing with a taxi driver over how best to pay for a ride.

Caller reported a drunk causing a ruckus at a neighbor's apartment. The drunk, well known to officers, was removed from the premises and helped into a taxi.

Oil which appeared to be coming from a rock quarry was found flowing down a creek and into the important salmon-spawning waters of Unalaska Lake.

Container owner reported two people had attempted to steal a vodka bottle from his residence, and asked that officers advise the two would-be thieves they were not allowed in his container again. An officer did so.

Business owner found a vehicle abandoned in the middle of his parking lot, effectively blocking all ingress and egress from his establishment. The vehicle owner, whose van had broken down just a short time earlier, was already en route to tow the van away.
