A concerned employee from a local business inquired about an active tsunami because he heard a loud continuous siren. The sound was thought to be a vessel horn. The sound that was generated still remains a mystery.

An individual requested an Officer assist him with two vehicles that he would like off the property. After being informed of program the City of Alaska has in place for these situations he decided that he would wait for the City to assist.

A concerned resident reported a white truck driving erratically on Airport Beach Rd. Caller was concerned that driver might be intoxicated. Officer did not find any signs of alcohol impairment and the driver stated that “people in town have nothing better to do than spy on each other”.

A courtesy welfare check was conducted for an individual at his residence. Officers attempted to contact him at residence but got no response later he was contacted on the phone and hung up.

Di Tran 29 yoa, was pulled over for multiple driving violations. She was arrested for DUI after failing sobriety tests and displaying indicators consistent with alcohol impairment.
