A woman called Public Safety and reported that her cousin was not breathing or being responsive. Woman attempted to perform CPR, EMS found the cousin cold to the touch and signs of rigor mortis.

A brawl was reported at a local bar where it was reported that two men fighting escalated to eight individuals fighting. When officers arrived, the crowd at the bar dispersed. Officer received a report that a man was battered in the face when an Armed Forces Branch rivalry discussion took place. No one choose to press charges.

Public Safety was notified by a motorist whose vehicle stopped functioning and was blocking the intersection of Broadway and Airport Beach Rd.

An Officer assisted in towing three vehicles to the City Impound.

A man concerned about receiving half of his paycheck before leaving the Island asked Public Safety Officers to intervene when the payroll worker would not give him his check. The officer assisting was informed that the individual receives direct deposit and he would get his money at the most in two weeks. Officer advised the concerned man that he may file small claims in court if he did not receive his money.

A woman received a call informing her of winning a Mercedes Benz and a substantial amount of cash. The woman inquired about sending it to her but was countered by caller repeating obscene words to her. An officer advised her to not give out any personal information if she encounters this type of call again.

A grey jeep was parked on the side of the road. Officer investigated and found the owner. The owner informed the officer that it broke down and he would remove it in the evening.

After a deckhand assaulted his co-worker, the boat captain requested that he be indefinitely trespassed from the vessel.

EMS personnel responded to assist a local fisherman who had punctured his leg badly with deck equipment.  Patient was transported to the Clinic.

Officers responded to a fight in progress on a local fishing vessel.  Mathew Sua, 35 years old, was arrested for Assault in the 4th degree.
Drunk Disturbance

Officers responded to local bar for an inebriated male who was accusing bar staff of stealing his wallet.  Subject found his wallet and left after knocking over a few chairs.  No action was taken as the manager did not request a trespass.
Assault

Officers responded to a verbal dispute between 2 individuals at a local car parts store.  The dispute was in regards to a parking issue and became heated due to past issues between the 2 individuals.  Officers interviewed all parties involved and ensured that things did not escalate.
Fire Safety

A concerned resident requested to know if there was a fire permit granted by UDPS for a fire that he reported being too large. An officer advised the burner about burn permit regulations.
Traffic Roads

Based on an officer’s preliminary morning roads assessment he requested the City Roads Chief be contacted and made aware of the icy road conditions.
