While on a walk, a young woman found a city road sign that had blown away. She brought it to Public Safety and turned it in.
Trespass

Management of a local bar asked that the person that had damaged their furniture to be trespassed from all of their hospitality facilities for a period of 72 hours.
Drunken Disturbance

An officer was alerted that there was a fight at a local establishment. It seems a man was ready to leave and his wife was not. He therefore hit a table forceful enough with a chair to break the table. Management elected to handle the cost of the furniture damages civilly.
Assistance Rendered

An officer assisted during an Ambulance call to a local bar where a customer had fallen and injured his head.
DUI
Sunday 28 February 2016, 1:28 a.m.
While on patrol, an officer encountered an individual that was driving inebriated. He observed several indicators of alcohol impairment and the driver admitted that he did not have a driver’s license. Elexander Serrano, aged 25 was charged with DUI and Driver While License Revoked.

A local liquor establishment requested an Ambulance for a customer who had fallen, hit the back of his head and was believed to have a hematoma.
DUI

An employee of a local bar had admonished two patrons to not drive, but they insisted. Officers contacted 33 yoa, Austin Davidson and charged him with his 3rd DUI, and Driving While License is Suspended.
Lost Property

A young woman stopped an officer while on patrol to report that she had lost her wallet and its contents.
Animal

A report of a large, black dog that had been barking constantly in the area of Loop Road. Officers patrolled the surrounding vicinity but were unable to locate the dog.
Welfare Check

Caller wanted information on how to initiate a restraining order on a person. It was related that the process is through the courthouse, which is closed for the weekend. An officer checked with the caller to insure that she was currently safe and that help was available if she was in need of. She indicated that she would start the process when the courthouse opened on Monday.

Officer assistance was requested in removing a drunken individual throwing a tantrum. Upon arrival the caller stated that the person had left, shortly after her call was placed. Officers followed footprints in the snow leading to a house nearby. They were unable to make contact as no one answered their knock on the door.

An officer requested that dispatch attempt to contact the owner of a disabled vehicle that was impeding traffic and insist that it be moved soon. Contact was made and the owner stated that a tow truck was on its way. Owner was informed that the vehicle would be monitored to insure its removal.

Caller reported that a taxi cab had slid into the ditch on Captains Bay Road. Officers responded and determined that there were no injuries, then assisted in pulling the cab out of the mudhole involved. The driver was advised to be more cautious when driving muddy, slippery roadways.

The duty sergeant dispatched officers to Henry Swanson Dr. to inspect a possible bio-waste spill that could contaminate nearby water. No issues were observed of improper drainage and nearby water was unaffected.

A report of a vehicle battery laying in the roadway initiated an officer response to the location where it was located and removed. It was taken to the landfill where it could be properly disposed of.

A representative of a local construction company met with fire staff to discuss the regulations to be observed when it was necessary for them to transport explosives to storage facilities and the new quarry location.
Alarm

Officers responded to the City Power House when a “man-down” alarm sounded. Investigation revealed that all was actually good and no further assistance was needed.
