A man who was unhappy with a business transaction he had just conducted in the back of van tried to plead his case by not allowing the driver to close his door and leave. He was subsequently knocked to his knees when the driver left anyway with his door still open. The man, only slightly injured, was more interested in obtaining his money than in filing charges.

An officer attempting to help a motorist out of a snow drift became stuck himself, shortly before another passing motorist became stuck as well. Public Works plowed the area soon after.

Caller reported a man running back and forth, screaming for help, on the second floor of the Grand Aleutian Hotel. Officers eventually broke into the hotel room where the man had barricaded himself against allegedly armed and goggled evildoers in the bathroom, and took him into protective custody.
