The public is invited to attend the second public meeting hosted by the City of Unalaska for these projects to improve salmon rearing capacity of the Unalaska Lake Drainage basin. The first plan addresses improving the quality of stormwater runoff within the drainage basin and the second plan will focus on habitat preservation and restoration within the Lower Iliuliuk River. The purpose of the meeting is to present a project update and gather public input on the information gathered so far as well as the initial findings of candidate projects or measures for implementation in the future phase. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
