4th of July Parade
Monday, July 04 2016, noon

Location: Downtown Unalaska

"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. We are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in the spirit of brotherhood." Let's celebrate equality amongst each other by expressing it through this year's Independence Day floats. Awards will be given out for the float that best represent the theme, most patriotic, and most original. This year's parade will follow a historical path and wrap around King Street and then down Front Beach back to Alyeska rather than continuing to the Elementary School. Float lineup begins at 11am and judging begins at 11:30am. Any floats not lined up by 11:30am may not be judged. Please stop by the Community Center to pick up float information packet if you are interested in entering a float.
