Unalaska’s annual 4th of July Parade will be helping to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Alaska Maritime Highway System (AMHS). Grand prize in this year’s float contest will go to the float that best represents the AMHS. The prize will be a $500.00 passenger travel voucher for the ferry. There will also be awards given out for most original float and most patriotic.

Float registration is free! If you would like to register a float please contact the Community Center before July 1st. Floats must be lined up for judging by 11:30 a.m. or they may not be eligible to receive a prize.
