Our office will be closed on the 4th of July, but we have scheduled some great holiday programming for you on KUCB radio:

*At Noon, catch "You're a Grand Old Flag" -- patriotic songs from musicals featuring rare performances by George M. Cohan and Irving Berlin, Robert Preston, Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney.

*At 5 PM, don't miss "A Box of 4th of July Fireworks," complete with surprises and rarities from Johnny Cash, Cat Power, John Prine, Spinal Tap, James Brown, Prince, Stan Freberg, Bob Dylan, and of course, Kate Smith.

*And finally, just in time for the fireworks display, tune in at 11:50 PM for patriotic classics from the KUCB Library. Crank it up from the comfort of your car, or bring your boom box along to the bonfire.
