"A History of the Aleutians" is a local course taught by Jeff Dickrell.
This course will cover the history of the Aleutian Islands from 1740 to 1945. It will look at the pre-contact culture with an emphasis on local archaeology, the evolution of the Russian period, the economic excesses of the early American period and the massive impact of WWII on the chain.
