Location: Museum of the Aleutians
An evening lecture and discussion of climate vulnerabilities in the Aleutian and Bering Sea region. Featured speaker Nick Bond will share results from two recent projects – one a dynamical downscaling of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) climate models for the region and the other a recent vulnerability assessment in progress focused on marine mammals, seabirds, fish, terrestrial vegetation and humans. Following the lecture there will be opportunity for discussion, feedback and input into the vulnerability assessment. This event is free and refreshments will be provided.
