Prerequisites: Must swim 300 yards continuously demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing. Front crawl or breaststroke accepted, no side or back swimming. Tread water for 2 minutes using legs only with arms under armpits. Timed retrieval of a 10 lb. object in 1 minute, 40 seconds. Goggles not permitted for timed retrieval.

Participants must attend and participate in all aspects of the course. No make up times available. Provide age verification on first day of class with valid driver's license, state ID, birth certificate or passport. Bring a bathing suit to each class. Provide a thumb drive to receive program materials prior to start of class.
