The Ballyhoo Lions Club is holding a raffle to fund their annual event: Operation Santa. The operation allows Santa and his elves to provide gifts for children in outlying communities across the Aleutians, including Unalaska, Akutan, Atka, Adak, and Cold Bay. Tickets are being sold by Lions Club Members now, and the raffle drawing will be held on December 20th at 6pm in the Grand Aleutian Hotel Lobby. Tickets are $20 a piece or 6 for $100. There will be thousands of dollars worth of cash prizes, with a grand prize of $2000 for the last ticket drawn. Please contact your local Lions Club community members for a chance to participate!
