Join the Bering Seas Storms research team at the Unalaska Public Library community room on May 23rd from 6-8pm for the premier showing of a 3-part film series, including “Aleutian Change,” “Down to the Core,” and “Storm Sleuthing.” Each short film takes viewers on the month-long research expedition that took place in the summer of 2022 aboard the Sikuliaq research vessel, showcasing Unangax̂ and western science ways of researching and understanding how storms impact the coast of the Aleutian Islands. Great finger food and pizza will be provided.
