UCB will be holding a Community Advisory Board Meeting for Channel 8 TV on December 20, 2013 here at channel 8 TV studio. Our Community Advisory Board meets twice each year to evaluate programming and help our board of directors confirm whether or not we are fulfilling our mission as a community TV station. Our CAB is run as an informal discussion group, and this meeting will be led by Matt Lightner. If you are interested in giving us feedback on our TV station, please join us for a pizza lunch! We also ask our CAB members gather opinions from other community members and advise as to whether our programming meets the specialized educational and cultural needs of Unalaska. The common trait for board members should be an interest in community television. When you RSVP we will send you a copy of what we’ve done in the past and what our current programs are. Please take time to see what are important, what new kinds of programming you would like to hear, and think of suggestions for improving the local shows.
