Transition to Work Program

The Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Corrections will make a presentation to the community and City Council regarding a proposed TRANSITION TO WORK PROGRAM for selected inmates, who are near the end of their sentences, to work at seafood processing facilities in Unalaska with electronic surveillance. The community is encouraged to attend, listen to the presentation and ask questions.
