American Red Cross disaster training courses are open to the public and are designed to prepare new disaster volunteers and volunteer groups to serve in disaster relief activities. These courses combine video, lecture and interactive multimedia. All disaster relief courses are free and have been brought to Unalaska by the Dept. of Parks, Culture and Recreation.

Schedule:
9 AM to Noon: Sheltering Fundamentals
1 PM to 3 PM: Sheltering Table Top Exercise
5 PM to 9 PM: Sheltering Fundamentals
