The Alaska Primary Care Association and SC AHEC is currently recruiting students for our upcoming free three-week healthcare pre-apprenticeship training at the IFHS Clinic this October 3-21, 2022, in partnership with APIA.

This is a free training for adults 18 and older interested in getting into healthcare and human services--no pre-requisites required!

Participants will earn Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, and Mental Health First Aid certifications and learn about basic healthcare topics and job readiness skills.
