The UAF-Bristol Bay Campus will be offering a college credited course on the geology of the Aleutians. Tuition for this course will be covered through a USDA Grant, meaning students (anyone wanting to register above the age of 16) can take this course for FREE. Students are required to attend all three meeting dates, including an informative hike to Beaver Inlet lead by adjunct professor and geologist Victor Fisher.

Course Description: This course will concentrate on volcanism, earthquakes and tsunamis with respect to the Aleutian Island Arc. And will involve two classroom sessions and an all day hiking trip to Beaver Inlet. Tuition will be covered through the UAF-Bristol Bay Campus.
