The Museum of the Aleutians is pleased to host this is a hands-on two-hour workshop with artist Dwight Hwang, that will cover the basics of the art of gyotaku. Fish will be available for participants to print, or you can bring your own fish to print (must be under 16" in the largest dimension). Ink, paper, and other supplies will be provided. This workshop is designed for participants over the age of 18.

Dwight Hwang has been practicing and teaching the art of gyotaku for over 20 years. The Museum of the Aleutians is excited to join the list of other institutions and organizations that have displayed Mr. Hwang's artwork and hosted workshops, including NOAA, Patagonia, The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, and Four Seasons Resorts.
