If you’ve always wondered what it was like to paint in oils, this is your chance! Participants will learn about oil paints and how they work, all about pigments, how to mix them, differ-ent brush types, mark making, techniques pertaining to just oil painting, color theory and allow you to explore the medium properly. These classes will be structured in order to make best use of the fabulous Daniel Smith & Gamblin oils and other top quality materials provided by the PCR, including one 8’10” frame to showcase one of your original oil paintings. All materials supplied, but bring an old shirt or apron to protect your clothes. Instructor: Kristine Asuncion
