Tune into KUCB at noon for a special broadcast of the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs’s visit to Unalaska. 

The committee will be holding a field hearing, “Contaminated Land Conveyances: the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, the Detrimental Impacts of Contamination on Native Communities and the Next Steps for Environmental Justice.”

Unalaska Mayor Vince Tutiakoff Sr. is among those giving public testimony at the hearing.
