Once a year, we ask our community to make a contribution to public radio in Unalaska. Funds help us keep KUCB 89.7, local repeater service of KSKA, and our website, up and running. Our fundraiser will take place from 12 AM – 11:59 PM. A donation of any amount makes you a member of KUCB and we are happy to work with you on a payment plan that spreads your contribution out to monthly or quarterly payments.

We do our best to keep you informed on important topics including municipal meetings and elections, health, industry, travel and energy development. The challenges of the past few years have brought KUCB’s mission more clearly into focus: our non-profit exists in order to keep you connected to what’s going on in Unalaska.

Fundraising is more critical than ever. In the past two years, KUCB has had to cancel and change long-standing station events, and apply for government relief funds. These funds will go a long way in helping offset our losses, but local fundraising is more important than ever. We need to ensure that our staff has the tools they need to do their jobs.
