Get involved in local history this summer with our Community Archaeology days! This year will be focused on the Udaxtan site, just before the Spit dock. Drop in any time between 11-3pm. Please dress for the weather and bring water- there are no amenities at the site. Tools are provided. Ages under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please respect and protect Unalaska history. Damage to archaeological sites and unsupervised digging is considered a crime by State and Federal Governments, and violators are also subjected to civil penalties up to $100,000 per each violation.
