Knik Construction will work on multiple paving projects in Unalaska this summer. The scope of work includes:

Repaving and extending the runway at the airport
Repaving Airport Beach Road from the intersection of Airport Way and Airport Beach road to the intersection of 5th St and Broadway. From the intersection of 5th St and Broadway to just past Haystack Drive.
Paving Henry Swanson Drive from the existing pavement on Henry Swanson Drive to the turnaround at the end of Henry Swanson Drive
Repaving and force main work on Biorka Drive. From the intersection of Airport Beach Road to the intersection of Biorka Drive and Delta Way
Paving the Airport longterm parking lot
Repaving the high school parking lot
Repaving City Hall. Curb and sidewalk work at City Hall.

THIS WORK WILL OCCUR DURING JUNE, JULY, AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER. Knik will have traffic control in place to expedite any delays. During this time we ask that all public, including pedestrians, please take note to traffic patterns. Be careful and use caution when traveling around and through work areas.
