The public is invited to attend a meeting hosted by the City of Unalaska. The purpose of the meeting is to present a project overview and to gather public input, comments, and concerns regarding the planning effort to expand the Unalaska Marine Center dock by adding an open cell sheet pile dock at positions III and IV (between the existing UMC dock and the U.S. Coast Guard dock). This will include extension of 50-foot gauge crane rails, addition of utilities, a new or upgraded cargo/seafood handling facility, and a new office building with parking. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
