Lots of fun prizes and side events, so stop by even if you don't plan to golf all 18 holes. This is a fundraiser for Unalaska Community Broadcasting. The tournament includes 9 holes of golf each day. Side events with prizes include:
1) Closest to the Pin: All team members get one free entry into the closest to the pin contest at hole 1, casual golfers and players who want an additional try will pay $1 per ball. The winner gets a customized green jacket.
2) Marshmallow Longest Drive: This is a creative spin on the normal Longest Drive challenge. We will measure who can get the most distance hitting a marshmallow instead of a golf ball. All team members get one free entry into the closest to the pin contest at hole 1, casual golfers and players who want an additional try will pay $1 per ball. The winner gets a beverage coozie and free wi fi credits.
3) The Pink Ball Award: Each team will receive four pink balls in their golf kit. Each pink ball returned will go into a drawing for a Bose Bluetooth Speaker (valued at $300) donated by OptimERA.
4) Most Team Spirit: The team with the most spirit wins beverage coozies and free wi fi credits. Points will be awarded for costumes, props, and general fun attitudes.
