APRIL 9TH & 10TH, 2016
9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.

ALEUTIAN PRIBILOF ISLANDS ASSOCIATION
1131 E. INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ROAD

The workshop will be led by Evan Gardner, developer of “Where Are Your Keys?”, and Susanna Ciotti. If you’re new to WAYK, this workshop will provide a foundation in the method suitable for beginners using the Unangam Tunuu lessons created in St. Paul during the 2015 Summer Language Intensive. They will work with novice and intermediate speakers to help them accelerate their own language acquisition and work on their teaching skills, so they can hand off language to other community members.

By engaging a community, we hope to strengthen a community, as languages cannot survive without a community in which they can live. There will be a potluck both days, so please bring a dish to share for lunch.
