USACE virtual meeting: Atka Air Force Auxiliary Field FUDS

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (abbreviated USACE) is hosting a public meeting.

During this meeting, the content of two Proposed Plans for the Atka Air Force Auxiliary Field Formerly
Used Defense Site and the USACE’s preferred path forward for cleanup of the features addressed in
these Proposed Plans will be summarized.

The public is invited to attend and provide comments during a virtual on-line meeting to be held Tuesday
August 20th, 2024 at 5 PM Hawaii-Aleutian time, 6 PM Alaska time. Information for the on-line Microsoft
Teams meeting platform is contained in the proposed plans available at the Atka Tribal Council Office.

These Plans are also available online by searching for “USACE Alaska District Reports and Studies” in your
web browser. You may also participate in the meeting by calling (907) 308-8052 and entering the
conference identification number, 875 512 605, followed by the # sign.

Comments can also be submitted by phone, email, or mail unƟl September 23rd, 2024. Details on how to
submit comments are provided in each Proposed Plan and on meeting flyers, both of which have already
been distributed to the Atka Tribal Council Office and are available for pick-up during office hours.
