USAFV ONLINE AUCTION!

Starts Wednesday, June 14, at 12 noon and ends Tuesday, June 27, at 11:45 pm.

Most local folks know that due to unforeseen and sad circumstances, USAFV cancelled the 2023 SOUP-OFF fundraiser that had been scheduled to take place on March 25, 2023. Nearly all of the very generous individuals, artists, and businesses who had already donated items for this event graciously granted us permission to keep them until next year’s SOUP-OFF.

However, in an effort to bring in a little bit of money before our fiscal year ends on June 30, 2023, we are holding an online auction of just a few select items (airline tickets, delicious seafood, a lovely Rie Munoz watercolor, and a stunning quilt) starting Wednesday, June 14 at 12 noon, and ending on Tuesday, June 27, at 11:59 pm.

Raising unrestricted cash is important for USAFV, as it is for all non-profits. USAFV uses cash from fundraising to provide direct services to people in crisis, whether that be emergency travel assistance, shelter, food, homeless prevention, or to meet other vital participant or program needs that we may not be able to cover with grant funds. We also use cash from fundraising to build up our reserve fund, which is crucial for the long-term health of our organization, as it helps us to build sustainability, and be prepared to weather any unforeseen events.
